Withdrawal Management

What’s Provided:

Program Overview

Ascensa Health provides withdrawal management as needed at the sub-acute level. The Withdrawal Management program is a 24-bed, medically monitored, residential, sub-acute program. This level of care serves individuals who are intoxicated, in imminent withdrawal, or experiencing withdrawal symptoms that require 24-hour medical supervision, but do not require the intensity of hospital services. Ascensa Health also provides withdrawal management services to those who need a controlled and safe environment to interrupt their “cycle of use.”

In the initial phase, individuals are monitored for withdrawal symptoms and receive supportive medications. They receive a nutritionally balanced diet, needed fluids, rest, comfort, and support, as well as a safe and conducive environment. The duration period is individualized, with a maximum stay of up to 20 days. Withdrawal symptoms are resolved before being transitioned to the next level of care.
